NEWS:
We will be hosting a second Yoga in the Orchard on Saturday, Oct. 18, 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Grounded Instructor Betty, will be leading the class. Cost is $15, please preregister at groundeddewitt.com. You can also come without preregistering, but please bring cash and your mat.
One of our employees is very talented. Shelby Davison, who you'll see on the weekends, has published a book, "Iowa's Native Rainbow," a book on our native pollinators. It is available in our store. If you ask nice, she'll probably sign it for you!
The Red Delicious, Golden Delicious and Chieftain are prime for U-pick this weekend now that we've had a little colder weather. Braeburn, late Fuji, Enterprise and Evercrisp are still a little green but should be ready by Oct. 25 and 26.
Get a burger or brat meal from the Green Island Church food stand every Saturday and Sunday, 11-3. Last weekend to get lunch is Oct. 25 and 26.
New animal friends are a turkey named Brutus, and several chickens. The ducks and geese are free range this year. Dogs must be leashed and controlled. Thanks!
Pies and caramel apples will be available on the weekends until sold out. And Eva will be making Saskatoon Berry Pies with a crumb topping this year in addition to Apple.
We have fresh cider made weekly.
